I can't see Gabbert or Newton starting for us as a rookie and us winning many more games than last year. We do not have the talent base that the other teams you mentioned have. The Steelers, Ravens and Jets have defenses that could carry a weak rookie QB.

 

Basically, we don't know shit about shit right now. But the historical data doesn't lie. And, yes, there are plenty of Clausen-cases out there, too. Not as many as there were, say, early-to-mid 90's.

 

"Sanchise" is the gayest nickname ever barely beating out "Mangenius". We all saw how he worked out.

Maybe those moron Jet fans should consider letting someone actually earn a nickname so they won't look so stupid in the end.

 

The other 3 also had great defenses to bail the offense out and provide great field position. Flacco, Sanchez and Ben would have all struggled with that sorry Panther team.

 

What about Brady?

 

I understand that it's not probable that this Panthers team will draft a rookie, start him, and win 10 games.

I also understand that each of those teams were pure dogshit the year prior to starting their rookie QB for 15-16 games, all with winning records.

Atlanta had a horrid defense in 2007. Don't have time to do a statistical analysis for NY, Pit and Bal--all I know is two of those three teams did it with rookie HC's and rookie QB's, while upgrading talent in that off-season.

With the current landscape, who the shit knows.
