Really, isn't it time for a change?

For both Smith and the Panthers?

Someone from comcast sports network up near Boston is saying he's hearing Smith could be traded to the Patriots for a third rounder, or possibly the Panthers' 33rd pick they traded in the Armanti Edwards trade.

If I were the Panthers, I'd do that.

The pick traded for Armanti Edwards DOES NOT = Armanti Edwards.

If YOU were a GM, you'd be fired a lot sooner them him.

Smallish athletic receivers aren't exactly the asset you want to hold on to as they approach their twighlight. The panthers need to rebuild, not hold on to the past. Though he was the best offensive player to ever play here, doesn't mean you keep him in spite of potentially getting something more useful for the future. If its the 33rd pick, its a no brainer. SEE YA!

Wouldn't matter to me. Fact is, he's smallish, in his twilight, has lost at least a step, starting to have some drops,,,,,,,, and while he still has value, a trade should at least be considered.

Other guys care a lot more about football. You've got your fan blinders on. Just because they don't yell, scream and punch their teammates doesn't mean they don't care. They fact that they don't says more to me than a guy that has a temper problem.

He cares, yes, but he's still a diva. If he cared that much about football and his on the field play, he never would've gotten injured playing YMCA football, he would've cared enough to know that was stupid.
