I'm not campaigning for his firing, and I don't expect it.

pretty ironic how the writers tied the two together on decisions yet only Fox is gone yet not a peep from writers.

Out of curiosity, why would anyone be happy with his performance?

Yes, but I think JR is afraid to step outside of his comfort zone. I don't think Hurney will go anywhere as long as Richardson owns the team.

He never traded two 1sts and gave up $50 million for a past-his-prime defensive lineman. Other than Polian's brief stint, Panther's fans don't have much experience with a top-notch GM.

I was ready for him to go for sure but I voted no, only because the change should have been made before we hired a coach.

I'm willing to wait and see what gives now that Fox is out of the picture, I think he was a big reason for taking Stewart and then trading to take OT. Which I hated.

    Ditto, trading for Brown.

Contrary to most Hurney haters, I'm not hammering him for the Edwards trade. Yet. It depends on if AE turns out to be a player or not more than the fact that the traded pick ended up so high; I don't blame Hurney for not seeing 2-14, I sure didn't. But if the guy turns out to be a player which I still think he could, even #33 would be okay with me.

But he'd better fucking get us a DT better than Hayden types, and quit robbing Peter to pay Paul in the draft. If he trades the '12 1st to move back into the 2nd this year, I'm for lynching him before we're back on the clock.

I think he should have gone rather than Fox or if Fox went he should have went as well. It would be odd to do it now.

We have had zero luck at acquiring a QB outside of Jake and we rode him way too long. If Hurney stays he better find a way to get us a solid QB.
