I'm sure Fox's first order of business is to acquire Delhomme from Cleveland.
Then, it's on to their snowy cabin in the woods...

Fox was gushing over Tebow and probably will have to play him whether he wants to or not. I know Fox would probably like to keep Orton but if he has a hard on for one of our guys then it might be possible.

Why wouldn't he be gushing over Tebow. He will be a franchise QB. Better than anybody he has ever had before

Gabbert's rise up the rankings is mind-boggling. He has a good frame and strong arm, so I get why people like him, but holy shit he wasn't even on the radar two months ago. He's a spread offense guy who didn't even dominate at Missouri. No thank you.

Unfortunately the last time a #1 pick was traded was 2004 when Eli was traded to the Giants. Its hard to even count that as they didn't trade until after both teams had already drafted. Before that it was 2001 with Vick. Its going to be especially hard to trade given that there is no QB worthy of that spot. People aren't going to give up the farm for a sweet LT.
The question you have to ask yourself is are you willing to take less than what the number 1 pick is worth? Instead of trading down for a future #1 and two #2's do you trade down a few spots and pick up only a second rounder? Depends on how far down you go but considering there is literally nobody worthy of a #1 selection its probably better value to take less in a trade down.

And screw Gabbert he'll drop out of the top 10 soon

I would be okay with it given our situation.

I agree. Value is relative. I think there is def. more value in trading down a bit and picking up that 2nd rounder if someone falls in love with Fairly or Bowers. In my opinion its better to get a package less than what past first overall picks have gone for. How far would you be willing to trade down assuming all you would get is an extra 2nd? 6 or 7 spots?
