I doubt Gabbert goes that high. QB hype aside he came out of nowhere and is high risk.

Character issues have kicked his ass. They were talking on ESPN today how he was once a mid 1st round pick and now they expect him to be 2nd to 3rd round. IF, he plays hard, he would be a steal that late.

Starvin Marvin: Work ethic also questioned, along with productivity in college. Too many question marks.

How soon until Blaine Gabbert is our pick? I say by the end of March. After the combine for sure.

Austin is supposedly in shape and tearing it up at the east-west shrine game.

    Kiper is so money

-- On his high pre-draft ranking for Notre Dame quarterback Jimmy Clausen, picked 48th overall by the Carolina Panthers: "To me, I think he was the fourth-best player. That's my rating. That's my opinion, and I'll stand by it. We'll see what happens three years from now.''

"Jimmy is as competitive as it gets," Kiper said. "His accuracy is outstanding; his arm strength is good. ... To me, there are no questions about his competitiveness and leadership."

It's because Kiper and Clausen have the same hair.
