    Any chance we can make a run at him? Don't get me wrong I know he's over the hill, but to me he's a better rent-a-QB than Rodney Peete was.

    He has the skills but seems like he's been pretty fragile in recent years.

    I agree, but as a veteran presence to get us through a year or 2 at most? Frankly if he goes down we go to Clausen, which may be our only option this year anyways. So why not?

    Thelt and I don't agree on our QB situation very often,,, but that is very true (of course Im not sure new coach Rivera would want this) but if we just play Clausen again next year, we are bout damn guaranteed the #1 pick overall 2 years in a row, thus landing Luck in 2012.

    Its really a pretty simple recipe, if we got the stomach.
