    2011 season gets cancelled. No football. Period.

    Do we get the #1 pick in two straight drafts, by default. Holy shit, I might just be on the lockout bandwagon now, gents.

    At this point, even if we only get the one #1 pick, I'm on the lockout bandwagon myself.

    Bring on the lockout, bay-beeeee!

    Silver lining? If there's no NFL season at all in 2011, the Panthers would then apparently hold the No.1 pick in the 2012 draft, too, and Luck will likely be available for that one.

    sure would be interesting if we pick cam newton and the lockout does indeed go down.

    There will be something in the new CBA preventing that. It'll most likely go to a lottery for that year.

    Different sport, but after the NHL lockout a lottery was held with weight given to franchises that have not had a #1 in recent memory.

    Unless it is written somewhere that we would indeed get back to back #1 picks, don't hold your breath.

    The other owners need to throw Jerry a bone because he's the one being all hardass about the CBA and leading the charge. Hope he gets something for being on the frontline.

    I think without the CBA crap we cut Fox last year and already have a coach staff in position. But again, if that happened we probably would not have the number one pick.

    I am hoping for the lockout now... the way the draft would work in 2012 is we have the 1st pick in the 1st round, 32nd pick in the 2nd round, 1st pick in the 3rd round etc...
