Grimm was turned down by Rooney, so going by today's presser, you figure richardson called rooney and said 'why'd you not pick Grimm?'

I guess incessant is the key word, a one dimensional offense does not work, you have to have all the elements and use what is called for.

fair enough, but I'm very concerned about the offensive staff. No good offensive head coach prospects, and of the assistants available from fired staffs, there's literally nothing available.

Pat Shurmur? Seriously, who are the best offensive assistants out there?

    Ahhhhh. Fuel.

Source confirms Maiocco's report that DC Greg Manusky will interview with Carolina. Adds that Harbaugh has not returned Panthers' calls.

Carolina is Harbaugh's chance to get QB #1, but Panthers not interested in paying big bucks to a coach. Harbaugh wants the big deal.

Shurmur's getting a little head coach mention but I dunno that he's that good.

Of the assistant coaches that you could hire for the OC job (assuming a defensive hire), you have:
    Mike McCoy
    Jeff Davidson
    a recently retired Dan Henning
    Brian Daboll
    the guy the 9ers fired
the guy they replaced him with
    Josh McDaniels

if the Titans all get releaesd, Heimerdinger has cancer.

oh by the way Jim Motherfucking Harbaugh but why would we want a guy like that? We're trying to improve offense.

that's disappointing. But makes me feel a hair better about our guys I guess. Unless the dollar amount was mildly affordable. Who knows. They're not nosing around Greg Manusky because he's expensive.
