    Kind of negates the purported heavy interest in Harbaugh, and/or affirms that his future is determined and doesn't include them.

    Adam Schefter... Marvin Lewis could be a fall back plan if they can't land Harbaugh.

    49ers have been linked to Lewis if he was not retained by Bengals. Plus it kind of says 49ers don't have Harbaugh locked up... unless it's a smoke screen for he Rooney rule

    Lewis makes sense there. Can still want JH though. If he turns all teams down for Michigan I'm disappointed.

    Harbaugh ought to go to the NFL, he can go back to college like Carroll if it doesn't work out.
