Well to give him his credit, he's shown a ton of class in a tough situation this year.

Something tells me that if Coughlin gets fired from the Giants, Fox'll get hired for that job. The Maras LOVED him while he has there and I think that they were sad that he left for the Panthers.

won't be popular with their media, but otherwise it's a great fit.

Fox is great at networking. Probably has more friends in the NFL than we give him credit for. Good football guy, knows defense.

    Track record not without inconsistencies.

Then, there was that time in Oakland, where ___________________________.

He is still a good coach and will get another job if he wants one. I am afraid we are going to be missing him before all is said and done. Eight years of consistently competitive football with a couple of deep playoff runs thrown in is pretty darn good. One bad year after a salary dump in the off season does not change that.

I doubt his stock is as high as it was circa 2001. There are a number of Fox-ish former HC's who never got another job.

2009 sucked too. But yeah he'll probably get a job.

One of the blogs mentioned him going to San Diego. If that happens, I'd happily take Norv Turner. I can easily see him working an offensive miracle here with the same players.

That would be using that term loosely.

Spanos was just quoted as saying Norm and AJ Smith are coming back.
