I guess what I'm trying to say is that the guy who drafted Clausen isn't going to give up on him for any random player.

Agreesome. I really wanted him to be good, but he seemed to get worse. Shell-shocked, maybe.

Yeah...that makes sense. If they believed he had the talent, a rookie year isn't going to change their minds. Pretty much every QB sucks their rookie year.

Not this year. Clausen is the worst of the group, by far. Way worse than moore was, even.

He needs to ride pine for years, or get released.

I agree...but somebody thought he could be an NFL starter and I doubt one rookie season will change their minds enough to take a shot in favor of another young guy besides Luck or maybe Newton.

I agree. If we draft a QB, it will be Luck and no one else. Hurney will stick with Clausen otherwise. (How long was Jarrett on the roster until we gave up on him?)

It does worry me that Hurney might use Luck to trade down. I hope that doesn't happen, and we draft Luck if he declares.

Having a healthy offensive line that stinks less than a dog turd would go a long way in helping Clausen.
