The student that he stole the laptop from refused to testify against him. Over a year later he admitted to being scared of retaliation from the football team.

PS: When the Falacons traded for the top pick to get Vick, they gave the #5, and a third round pick that year, a 2nd round pick the next year, and a top 5 return man (Tim Dwight?)

Cam Newton is a great athlete. He can't read a defense or a book with no pictures. He is not humble, he has never faced consequences for lapses in judgement. Not only did his father negotiate for his services, he knew about it. Stealing, lying, arrogance. Yeah! Pay that guy millions. Do you think he has the work ethic to become Manning-like, or is he more likely to become a Jamarcus Russell? Vick was great and thought rules didn't apply to him when he was a Falcon. That is the best case scenario for Newton.

caffeine kicked in around 10:05 then?

Upside is that Andrew Luck is a pretty fucking solid guy to go with being an exceptional athlete and quarterback, so hopefully he comes out. I remain in the camp that the rest of the fuckasses aren't worth my time. Luck is a rare shot at something special. There's like one good running quarterback and it took a felony and a cut to make him an OK passer. I'd take pickle over the field if Luck isn't in it - he sucks but he's got a year's experience. Kid has the tools.

I just had some more espresso to counteract the five guys.

I'm thinking orton might be in our future....if Luck stays I could live with orton/xxxx/clausen.

Yeah I dont want a rookie for a rookie's sake.

I'm worried about Hurney. I hope he doesn't fuck this up.

Pickle's wind-up and release are waaay to long. I like Mallet throwing if we have no luck (pardon the pun). Trade down and get more picks....IF Luck stays in school.

Orton's a FA. We could do worse.

I like Volek as I've put out there. Very Delhomme, though his decision to stay with SD was kinda iffy - he isn't an elite guy by any means but he could've at least tried to get into a playing situation.

Mallett, Clausen, Locker, I don't find a significant difference between them as prospects. There's no real reason to forcibly replace Clausen if there's not a definitive upgrade. We wouldn't look at Luck because we're dying to get younger at QB, it's because he's pretty fucking fantastic.
