    Espn was getting a lot of play on how much Belichicks assistants who've moved on to become head coaches have pretty much all sucked. Weis, McDaniel, Romeoi, and Man-gina to a huge degree.

    Kyle Orton might not have been enough to get us to the playoffs but he would have made a huge difference. The reason we can not run the ball is because our passing game is awful so other teams play to stop the run. If we had some balance our run game would open up. If that happened we would not have as many issues with pass protection. When you can run the ball you do not get in third and long nearly as much and it keeps the defense honest. I think Steve Smith, David Gettis and Brandon Lafell are a pretty good set of WRs. If they had a better OC and a solid QB I think they would put up good numbers.

    Our defense has worn down but it has not been awful this year. If you think about how many times our offense put them in a bad position and how little our offense has controlled the clock then you realize our defense is not bad.

    I really think the team we have now would be pretty good with a solid QB and a health Jeff Otah.

    Yet an OL with mostly the same players on it produced two 1100 yard running backs last year.....

    If you consider they didn't have Vincent and Otah and having 3/5 as mostly the same, then yeah.

    Well we had Schwartz in for Otah for a good chunk of last season and did well with him in there. Losing Otah did hurt. Bernadeau played OK last year but has sucked this year.

    Assuming the OL, including Otah, is healthy next year it should be pretty good.
