I am always hesitant of coordinators who gain their fame under Elite NFL coaches.

Tom Brady makes them a Super Bowl contender, but Belichick and McDaniels were both on staff during the 10-6 year with Cassel. Belichick is an elite head coach.

He's a great coach. But the Patriots have zero super bowls without Tom Brady. Zero.

Some guys are just best at being coordinators, there is nothing wrong with that. They are still part of a very elite group and make lots of money. Dick Lebeau is one of the best DCs ever but he struggled as a HC.

zero super bowls or zero super bowl wins?

and brady's missed one season since he became the starter so yeah... would be a long shot to make it there without him

Considering that all three of the Patriot's super bowl wins were close games I really doubt that they win any of them without Brady.

only true in the sense that for a 2010 Carolina QB to have those numbers our receivers would have to be better (especially in the first half of this season). The O-line would have to be MUCH better . . . Oh, and our play calling and coaching would have to be a LOT better too. So I hope you aren't implying that we just needed Kyle Fuckin Orton to be wild card material. Yeah he may have been better than any QB on our roster but I share the opinion of those who believe that QB play is not the biggest problem this organization has.
So we would have won a few more games with Orton . . . Carolina would still only have a 5 win season (maybe) unless some of that other trivial shit was not broken as fuck
