A lot remains to be seen with the next cba but you def want to win because you don't want the first pick. For one thing the price is absurd. So much so that the pick is essentially untradeable. Without a 2nd rounder being able to trade back a bit and pick up another pick or two would help out a bit.
Knowing Hurney he'll try to trade up from the number two spot. But I want to win because like it's been said it'll mean that the young cats are maturing and getting better.

Finishing strong for the Panthers is a step forward, but the draft is usually a step back and the preseason is usually two steps back. Then going 2-5 to start the following season slaps you back to reality.
Sorry, but the glass is half empty to some fans.

Win the fucking games. We may not even have NFL football next year, so just go win while you can. I hope we win each one of these games. I hope we ruin Atlanta's playoff ambitions. Then I hope John Fox burns the city of Charlotte to ashes.

I wish I had yalls faith in competing with ATL. Probably the best team in the NFC IMO.

After the CLE game id like to believe wed have a chance at ARI and SEA but that only puts us at 3 wins. The Bills actually put points on the board and Cincy already beat us. The #1 pick is ours, after Kasays shank its the pick of destiny.

Momentum would be a great solace for the fans.

For the players the main need is as stated " Development of young talent "

If that somehow equates to a win or two so be it !

But with the changing of the guard in coaching staff and possible No Football next season .

Where's the momentum for the team ?

Try to win, a draft pick is not guaranteed to be a good player.

There is gonna be football, they make too much money from it.

I admit I feel better when we win, but I would sacrifice a couple of days of that now for many more in the future, get the 1st pick and go from there.

#1 pick will make offseason more fun, and this season is rurnt.

I'll clap if we win, laugh and shrug if we lose.

Winning a meaningless game or two isn't going to build any momentum for this team. These guys are professionals, and will be ready to go next year regardless of whether we are 1-15 or 3-13. Besides, since we will have a new coach/scheme next year anyway, lots of these guys might not even be here .
And yes, the # 1 pick for next year will be a LOT more exciting than say a come from behind win against AZ this year.
Also, once the CBA is reached next year, the # 1 pick will be a lot more affordable (and tradeable, if we are stupid enough to do that..).
