ISn't Fox getting paid $6.5 million this year? Isn't that elite money? Isn't JR paying it?

Didn't capers get an elite extension? Didn't we fire him and keep paying him? Didn't we pay Seifert elite money? Didn't we fire him and keep paying him? And we paid Fox new coach money while we were also paying Seifert, but then gave him 2 large extensions, both paying elite money?

I have no idea where the beat writers get that we wont pay elite money to a coach. We always have, and we currently are.

Also, we paid Delhomme over $500k to whip our ass Sunday.

Every writer has a right to have theories. The good ones put their theories in the proper context, and shape the narrative in that manner. The bad ones are pure shit.

Not only all of that, but JR wanted both Spurrier and Dungy before finally 'settling' on Fox. Both of those guys would have cost a shit ton more than Fox.

I know he wanted Dungy, but I only heard fans wanted spurrier, never JR.

Dungy actually interviewed. I wonder if that was Rooney rule interview?

    Skipper could be that guy.

I would think that 5 to 6 mil would get you a pretty good coach, but like Abusive stated you have to have the staff to go with it.

Wonder if an assistant with the current staff counts towards the Rooney Rule.

Wait, Skipper's contract's up. So, he's probably the most likely.

Such a silly discussion to even have to have (Rooney Rule)

I can't believe I read all that on my phone.

Cheapness comes from the Fox money thing and older things like being unable to lock in Weis because it would've been a paycut. May or may not be true but it fits with the established idea that we want a young guy, and that part I believe to be true.
