Other than getting Jon Gruden's dick hard with the wildcat where exactly is this thriving? Hasn't a top 10 offense in scoring or yards in south beach.

 

Fox stuck with Jake cause Jake was all he had. When we finally benched Jake I figured Moore would royally suck. He somehow played well for five games but then returned to form.

You can not win consistently in the NFL without a QB. Look at the Cardinals, last year they were a playoff team and this year they are almost as bad as we are. The Ravens have been good at times when they had a solid QB and sucked when they have not.

If Fox had a decent QB on the roster he would win consistently.

 

The organization is a mess right now, I can't imagine any big name coasches (Gruden Cowher) wanting to come to a rebuilding project.
Going after Michael Vick as a free agent in the offseason would certainly help with the fan base.

you keep saying this, and you're not alone, like this is a magical disinfectant that cures fox of the stinking dogshit this team has become. 9 fucking years here and he hasn't been able to find and/or develop a decent qb. instead we've had a parade of clowns that didn't belong anywhere near an nfl team. the most important position on the field has been ignored or neglected for his entire tenure, and up until recently, fox and hurney have been a tandem when it comes to personnel. there's no excusing why qb shouldn't have been priority number 1 following delhomme's arm surgery. and so it's come to this, his last inglorious year, and a group of newbies and backups, attempting passes to more newbies and backups. it is what it fucking is.

Fox won the division twice, made three playoff appearances one superbowl and one NFCCG. During his tenure we have had the following QBs:

Rodney Peete
Chris Weinkie
Jake Delhomme
David Carr
Vinnie Testaverde (the washed up old man version)
Matt Moore
and this year's assortment of rookies and misfits

I can not really imagine any coach doing much better with this to work with. I am sure Fox would have been in favor of signing a veteran QB before this season if Hurney and Jerry would have let him.

Sean Payton did not develop Drew Brees he got him as a free agent. If the Panthers do that instead of the Saints there is a really good chance we win a superbowl or two.
