They beat the Patriots by 20 today and the Saints in their last game. What's up? Colt McCoy is looking like rookie of the year material so far. Not to mention best football name in the NFL. And Peyton Hillis, who we got in from the Broncos in the trade for Brady Quinn, has got to be close to the top of the league in yards gained. I know you guys probably could give two shits about the Browns, but, as I've learned as a Browns fan, when your team totally sucks ass, it opens up looking at the rest of the NFL.

They were 10-6 a few years ago.

They still have some good centerpieces in place. I really think some teams are benefiting from defenses gearing towards stopping the pass, and the Browns are one of those teams.

Don't know if you've ever seen Peyton Hillis run, but he's an old school guy who doesn't run out of bounds, he runs for every yard he can get straight ahead. Amazing what a quality RB and QB can do for a team.

He's solid, but they also have a very strong offensive line. Thomas, Steinbech, and Mack are three of the best run blockers in the league. You can still win games just by being strong up front. If they can keep Jake Delhomme off the field, they might have a chance to go 8-8.

The number of years the Browns went after offensive linemen in the draft, finally we have something to show for it. With our shit QB's the past few years it seems maybe we've built a team that mostly just needed a QB and a RB. Hoping so anyway. 8-8? Hell how about 11-5?

They still have the Panthers on their schedule, so it's at least 4-12.

It's sort of like a bye week only we get a win.

I was thinking about going to the Browns/Panther game but why would I want to drive 10 hours to watch the Panthers get pummeled when I can drive 20 minutes and see the same thing. :evil2:

A rookie QB for the Browns, goes 2-1 against the Steelers, Saint's and Patriots .. outplays tom brady in a big way beating the patriots 34-14, but will get no consideration for rookie of the year?
