    Sly's response to that is the truest thing ever posted here. Collin was and is highly overrated in both his knowlege and entertainment value. This place is far better without him.

    I met Moose right before he went to Chicago and he was very nice. Stopping to have a picture made together, and very nice to a large group of excited kids as well - talking to them, being very patient and being sure they each got an autograph.

    When he first came to Carolina, I believe he gave Catman a "hard time" about changing to 87 for a jersey - doesn't sound jerky to me. Have heard several stories about him being very receptive to fans, especially kids.

    Now Smitty used to go through the lockerroom with an air horn to run reporters out - that would be reason to not like a player. Peppers was inivisble to the press - that had to be irritating. So I don't know what Moose did, but maybe DG deserved it.
