Couple more thoughts (like you give a dog shit about them):

*Get 41 off PR duty. He's not accomplishing anything, and he's a liability with the fumbles. Clowney and Thomas have done it, and have shown they can do it efficiently. Move in that direction, plz, and allow the good captain to focus on playing defense.

*Defensively: do what you do. Swarm, but just--for the love of god--do not allow any cheap shit on the ground. Since week one, our pass defense has been stellar. Just have some integrity in the front seven, take good angles (VETERANS), and tackle. SFO was made to look like the 08 Panthers last night, but that was against the AFC's worst rush defense. We can manage better than that, and if we do, Alex will toss you 2-3 picks (if you catch them--not you, Godfrey. You're actually fielding your throws well)

*Offensive Line: this would be a very good week to make a couple things official. (1) Put Otah where he belongs--on IR and (2) Move Gross to RT and Wharton to LT. Schwartz and Mack can fill the inside with Kalil. I know this offense, and personnel, well enough to know that this would make us a better team overall, particularly in pass protection. I suggested this 3 weeks ago, and--oh my goodness--Pat Kirwin actually echoed this suggestion last week on NFL Radio (by the way--go buy Kirwan's new book. It's very good).

*Goodson. Perhaps there was an injury I wasn't aware of. First three weeks: 9 rec, 111 yards, 12.3 YPC. Nowhere to be found in the passing game, or even our base 3/4-wide packages in Q3/Q4 in the last two losses. Again, if he's limited due to injury, fine. Otherwise, this is just inexplicable, given his progress and how valuable of a safety valve he had been for both QB's. This could, quite possibly, be the most puzzling part of our offensive "gameplanning" so far. You have a playmaker, who actually has a year under his belt in this system, and he's picking up blitzes better than any of your backs, and you just bail on it. Fucking Davidson--just go away you fat dickface.
