Agreed about no other WR on our team could "start" on another one, but the same could be said about 2005, and with absolutely no running game, we went 13-6.

    this. Gettis, too, fwiw.

Fuck. Really, though, they both suck. They're like a couple of rotten toothed fat chicks with acne in a room full of retarded midgets.

Gettis has some nice wheels. Again, Drew Carter (like, his twin brother--just a lot darker). But he has no chance at the 53. I did like the returns, but historically, you don't see a lot of return specialists over 6'3".

I don't want to debate the Edwards pick, where it was. That's a losing battle--Gantt's proving that. But I am glad we got him, either way. We reach a lot, and usually, we get what we need. I don't think this will be any different. Just play him at WR, and keep him out of the PR game until he is ready.

Honestly, I think he would be just fine at KR, with more time to set his body and kick things into gear, but I am also ok with Goodson there.

Knowing Fox, he'll have Sutton return kickoffs, and Kenny Moore doing PR duty. Fucking asshole.

Have we drafted a WR under Fox that turned out to be a solid starter in the NFL? So far Colbert is the best..... :EMOSTVomitIntoTheTo

A fucking blind squirrel could have done better than we have.

I wouldn't mind looking at Crayton, who should be available tomorrow latest; today or last night his agent asked for his release prior to the final cut deadline. Better than what we have and not too expensive.

    Sometimes here, sometimes there

The panthers organization as a whole have only two starter quality* WRs on their draft resume:

Moose and Smith, and Smith was drafted as a PR.

I'd say that's purty awful, considering they have drafted what turned out to be very good quality players at most of the other positions (other than QB).

God, when I come by here, I remember why I leave for long periods of time. Some of you (Abusive, for one) are just the biggest fucking clowns I have ever read. Presidence, you're not too far behind though some of what you post, I really like. You're just such a goddamned HOMER sometimes.

I'm talking about all of this. Everything. You're just fucking stupid.

Anyway, yeah, we're not gonna go after TJH, when we just cleaned fucking house of expensive veterans, so why are we even talking about it?

We'll wait for the waiver wire, and look for a decently priced receiver who can help us. Or stand pat. I hope we don't. We're wretched at receiver. Absolutely wretched. I'll be shocked if Jarrett sticks, though I think he's the best we got right now behind Smith, for now. I don't have any doubt LaFell will be better soon...

Armanti Edwards? That dude is fucking awful. I get sick of hearing comparisons with Smitty when he was a rookie. They're nothing alike. Edwards is a chickenshit player, he is dumb, and a fucking coward, and will never amount to a football player who can hang in the NFL. He is fucking shit, and I want him gone. It won't happen. But that dude doesn't belong in this league.

As for receiver...Crayton was mentioned, but I'm skeptical that Dallas will actually release him.

If they do, we need to pounce, but we'll have competition. Will it matter though, with the way Matt Moore has been playing?
