And the the ones with the most success, Flacco and Sanchez, had elite defenses to help them out.

it took Jake until the end of preseason to show as more able than Weinke in 2003. So no, one game doesn't make it.

But, flipside, he made his throws. And while Moore made most of his he did have some Jake in there (a high ball in traffic, and a sack-fumble he couldn't do anything about).

The end result is we need someone to make 3rd down throws, dump the ball off early in the series, and not make mistakes. I really don't care which of our guys does that. Especially regarding a saviour - we will have some pass improvement but with our receivers, we're not talking about becoming the Saints or Colts. Execute the offense and throw a prayer to Smith now and again.

I could tould be dead wrong but I sense a bit of a Rush Limbaugh style April Fool's tone to Y2B's statements. The hype is entertaining but Moore has got to start for now. It was very encouraging to see Clausen come out with confidence. We haven't had that in a rook qb in quite a while.

i think Y2 is genuinely hyped about The Clau, as am I and jimmy is the main reason why I'll be watching preseason panther football this year. The NFL learning curve will not be as steep for him and i think we we'll see the guy improving with just about every series.

I think Clausen is slightly ahead of Moore as in who gives the team the best chance to win... and it shouldnt be close, Moore should appear to be a much better option. By the time week 1 gets here, Clausen will be even farther along...

    1. Moore
    2. Clausen
    3. Pike or Cantwell. Flip a coin. Might be able to hide Pike on PS

Will your opinion change if Moore tears it up next week and Claussen struggles? What if in the game after that Claussen looks better? You going to change every week?
