I got to go with Clausen. He looks ahead of Moore already. I say go ahead and name him the starter. He's the better QB.

 

Ummm...no.

Let's see Clausen against the starters and Moore against the backups. I'm sure you'd be retracting that opinion.

 

You have to remember he is playing against the 2's. That's a huge difference when you are playing anyone, especially Baltimore. Plays like the one he made where he checked down to a RB accross the field in traffic will spell trouble.

Although, I thought he played really well on the whole.

 

I know who he was playing against... Moore played a whole Q, Clausen came in on his first experience and drove the team down and put points on the board. He put the team in position to score again to end the half. I'd rather see Jimmy play with starters around him... he looked like the only starter on the field at times. He's the better football player then Moore. I'm on the Clausen bandwagon. He needs to start asap.

 

And so it begins...... Moore was pretty good when he was in there. Gross screwed up his numbers with all those penalties. One of them took away a big third down conversion.

It is better for the team and for Claussen if he sits a while and learns before he sees live bullets.

 

Moore. He deserves the start until he fucks up, just don't wait until the season is half gone before they decide he's fucking up.

 

4 Quarterbacks - 0 Points. Gonna be another rough year for yinzguys.

 

Most fans wait until week 1 of the regular season to jump to retarded conclusions.

 

I do not usually wait that long but this is a little early for even me.

 

at least Clausen could get tackled without fumbling the damn ball... one more thing this team hasn't seen in a QB in a really long time

I did not see one part of QB play where Moore looked better on the field... audibles, decision making, foot work, reading the defense, arm strength, presence in the pocket, accuracy...

It's the first time Clausen's stepped on the field to face NFL competition, Moore's had time in the NFL and in this offense... he should be far ahead Clausen. He's not. To keep letting Moore get reps with the first team offense is a waste of time. I think this QB competition is over.
