Jackson slipped, but he still wasn't open. Oh well. Welcome to the NFL.

game getting sloshy now. we look better than we did last year at the start at least. special teams still looks fairly awful. the line was disappointing. didn't expect them in midseason form, but they were mostly ineffective at everything other than penalties. the 96 yard drive was bad, but other than that, the defense wasn't completely inept and uncapable at times.

I can see our schemes, and I can see them working. Whether our 3rd string line can beat theirs isn't the biggest deal other than a few extra

special teams is ugly. It will be better, I can guarantee that.

The tackling on that return was ugly.

lot of work to go on offense. passing game still looks feeble. i realize we are without smith, but part of getting better was supposed to be able to have targets other than smith.

i liked hoover as much as the next fan, but i thought fiametta did a good job. nice block on the williams run and caught a pass or two i think.

Jesus Christ, we can't catch a ball. I'll bet there's a million Burger King fry cooks that could at least occasionally catch a ball.

Nice catch by Kenny Moore in the first half. I liked what I saw from Claussen. It could be a long year.
