fans are being restless to a point. I don't think Richardson is suddenly doing things that different - cut some guys that fiscally it made sense to cut under the current situation, let a franchise DE go that didn't want to be here. Not unlike what everyone else has done. We've signed no one big, but that's again no different. We signed all of no one last year, either.

I'm rather pleased that we have suddenly found:

    1. A young, energetic and accurate starting QB
    2. A quality young RG
    3. A quality young backup RT
    4. Tyrell Sutton

Consider that Gross, T-Davis, DW and others will be returning from season-ending injuries, and consider this team, with Jake heaving up prayers, in 2008 was 12-4, I feel pretty good.

Again, the only thing depressing me remotely these days is the labor shit. I like this team.

Fox, yes, he's probably a goner, no matter what happens in 2010. If he wins the Super Bowl, then we see how it plays out. I do think Bill Cowher will inevitibly coach this team at some point--it makes entirely too much sense for both sides.

But, I'm wrong a lot, so fuck it. Just drink beer.

    Good journalism.

60% of said list had become financial and operational liabilities. Hoover is older than I thought, and Diggs, like Brandon Short and Greg Favors, is completely replaceable.

Since we're not gonna sign any FA, I would love to see us resign our main guys like DeAngelo long term.

As I've said before. If these decisions have been made as part of the new direction of the team, I'm fine with it, but if its because Jerry making a point about the labor deal, its screwed up. I know he's the owner, but he's slapping the PSL holders in the face. I'm curious if there will be litigation if there's a lockout.

I have not seen a free agent that I really wanted us to sign this year. We could use help at WR but I really do not want to sign a problem child like Owens, Edwards, Marshall etc. I would be happy to see us draft a WR in the second or third round and let him compete with Jarrett. We are not likely to pass a whole lot anyway.
