Play him at QB no matter how bad his inconsistency or late game turnovers hurt your team.

Give him a chance to earn his keep as a kick or punt returner and and let his other skills develop. He might be an NFL quarterback. Joe Theismann started out with the Redskins returning punts. Edwards has an arm. There's nothing to be lost by giving him a chance to demonstrate that he can play qb if they use a pick on him.

nothing would warm my heart more than undermining a QB who played at a stellar level to end the year than picking up a running QB from a local party school. Also works for Thigpen, BTW.

Are you for real? How would picking somebody in the late rounds who might or might not be an NFL quarterback be undermining anybody? I see Carr, Cantwell and an undetermined veteran as our qb's. But if nothing else, we do know that Edwards is a helluva' athlete. All I am saying is that if you draft him because of that athleticism, it doesn't hurt to find out if he can play quarterback.
And FWIW, when I went to college they were all party schools.

I'm not condoning starting him over Moore if we got him, but I think he might turn out to be a decent 3rd WR or kick returner. And just about all colleges are party colleges.
