    If I thought he would behave himself I would like to have him but given his track record and the fact we will probably be starting a young QB I would not do it.

    If anyone picks him up they need to have a well established QB who is strong enough to withstand any crap Owens starts in the locker room.

    Smith is not as bad to undermine a QB. In fact Smith stuck by Jake for a long time. TO had problems with Garcia, McNabb, Bledsoe, Romo, Edwards and would probably have problems with Moore.

    If Jake had not lost his mojo it might have worked.

    Besides his age, he wouldn't put up with being second to the rules and regulations. Owens could be a dominant slot guy but I'm not sure he can accept that role.
