Name Change

Wonder how Chad Johnson is feeling today.

other than that, he's still a rich mofo... couldn't be all that bad

 

I think what cougar man meant was that Ocho said that he would change his name back to Chad Johnson if he didn't get like a 100 yds in the game yesterday or something stupid like that. I was half listening to the local sports talk show this afternoon here in Columbus while I was cooking dinner and the local guys were talking about Ocho, his MRI, and him saying (tweeting) something about changing his name if he failed to do something (like receiving x number of balls or getting 100 yds or more in game yesterday). I wasn't paying that close of attention but I just remember the guys mentioning Ocho changing his name back to Johnson.

 

During the game the announcers said something about "If the secondary could shut him down (they apparently boasted they could or weren't afraid of him) he'd change his name back".

 

I thought I heard them say on tv last night during the game that he said if they got blanked (not sure what the "blanked" meant) he would change it back.

I found in Peter King's MMQ column what I was talking about:

Chad told Bob Costas he'd change his name back to Chad Johnson if Revis shut him down Sunday night. Your move, Chad. Asked by a reporter after the game if he still planned to change his last name back to "Johnson,'' OchoCinco said, "Child, please.''


I guess Ocho has changed his mind. *shrug*

 

Blanked as in not making the stat sheet a blank space where your catches/TDs would be.

You are correct Sackem that's the way I heard it. I guess Chad's got a big ole plate of crow to eat.. He sure was talking before the game..
I've also had to eat a little crow in my time..
