He actually looked good last night, not as much the previous two games.

When and if he shows he can continue and improve and be consistant I will think more of him. I don't think that is hate.

I don't. He had wierd stats when he didn't start - hail mary int to close a half, coming into a terrible situation ( philly ).

As a starter, he's as good as we've had in a years.

we'll find out how much you love him when he has one of those WTF Jake!?! games. He hasn't really tried to make any throws yet that he can't and he does the same - "throw it up and go get it Smitty" shit that Jake does. Last night Smith went up and got them. Just like he's done often for Jake. But you know there is going to be a game, maybe not til next year when he throws five INTs because he made some boneheaded throws and Smith doesn't go get them.

Hope I'm wrong but I think many of the Moore lovers are still in the honeymoon stage with him and his honeymoon won't last near as long as Delhomme's did.

I am not a Moore lover but it is hard to argue with the stats he has put up. When you have a guy like Smith throwing it up and letting him go get it is not a bad plan. Jake would throw the ball straight to a defender who was five yards away from Smith.

I really think Jake's arm is shot. He just could not put the ball where he wanted this year. Moore has a fresh arm and is able to get out there where Smith has a chance to fight for it. For all the talk about Moss shutting it down I think Smith had done that a bit until recently. Once he started getting some long passes from Moore he started playing harder, IMHO.

To me, Jake's prob is not just accuracy, it's absence of mobility, pocket presence awareness and terrible ball holding skills that result in an awful lot of fumbles. Also, not just ints, but how many have been returned for tds? He leads the league in that stat.

Also, most nfl qbs can and do throw the ball 'up there and let the receiver go get it'. You can't really say ___ or ___ does it better by how they do it, but it's when they do it and where they throw it up.

Jake borders on Bline mobilty, which is none, and his pocket management and fundamentals suck.

I thought he was great in 2003. Hell, I cheared as loud as anybody in the stadium the second he ran out on the field the first time in the Jax game.

But he has gone downhill since then. Sure, we've had a coupla good seasons and comeback wins with him, but I don't know he carried us to all those wins. Many of em were in spite of him, imo, and many of the comebacks should have never had to be comebacks.

And somebody above said it right, most don't know what we've been missing because throuout the years we haven't had great qb play at all, so Jake seems great in many aspects because he's been bettern the rest.

Also, everyone pimping, STFU about Campbell. He's gonna be a bust.

I don't see anyone calling Moore a savior. Just giving credit where it is due.

He throws a nice deep ball. Those weren't a rainbow and a prayer.

He tried to go deep with King, and just overthrew his depsite putting air under the ball. Hard to do that with Smith, and he had him on a line.

Moore had a good game last night once the running game really started clicking. I still don't see him as our savior, but am interested in what he could do with a little more time with the starters. But I want them to SERIOUSLY look for a QB for next year - a legit starter, not just sideline decoration.

Oh, and hasn't Williams been having ankle issues for a few weeks? Why not sit him the rest of the season rather then risk more serious issues or something chronic?

When it works yes, when it doesn't you realize it's a bad thing to rely on for a passing game.
