When will Fox get the axe???

    i dont know if Fox should go but Davidson should be left in NE and told to find his own way back.

    it may depend on this last stretch of games. going to be tough to sell people the merits of keeping him if we finish with 5 wins. if he can win a couple, with the scapegoats that are already in place, then maybe he stays. i think there's 1 year left on his deal.

    Fox has been the most successful coach in our history. His worst season prior to this one was 7-9. That means we have never been doormats under him. I would just as soon see him stay. Certainly we are at a bit of a crossroads with the Jake falling apart and no heir apparent on the roster. I would just as soon see Fox and company lead us through that crossroads.

    It might be a good idea to bring in a GM to help with personnel but Fox is a good coach and would likely be a head coach somewhere else as soon as he wants.

    All that being said I like Cowher and would be excited to see him come here.
