    We have one of the worst rush defenses in the league and the pass d is inflated becuase teams don't attempt many passes on us.

    Not necessarily. We're only 11th in yards-per-attempt given up, and we've only given up 12 passing touchdowns. Opposing QBs have a combined 73 passer rating. Those are pretty solid numbers, with or without Freeman's help. Our defense is set up to take away the deep ball, so we match-up decently against Moss. I'm more worried about how we're going to defend Welker.

    does it matter that we've fielded a different defensive alignment every game this season?

    last year we had 3, and the 3rd stayed set the remaining 14 games

    I don't disagree, but the defense isn't great. It's decent but nothing to get excited about.

    It's not great, but I think they're geared towards stop big passing plays and they do a pretty good job of that. It would probably be ranked even higher if we didn't have a QB who constantly gave the other team bonus possessions.

    That would rock. I still remember the year we knocked them out of the playoffs in the last game of the year. I think that game was something like 10 to 6......
