He's not as fast as Michael Vick, but probably a more accurate passer. He's not going to be able to take hits in the NFL like he does in college though and I imagine some linebackers would take it as a badge of honor to be the one who ruined Tebow.

I think that's part of it. A guy like him will help your running backs. He's a very talented player, and the thing about him being an inferior passer, I think that's a crock of shit. He might actually be able to take advantage when teams load the box.

oh, there's no doubt. And any coach with five cents will keep him from doing this shit where he tries to run like a fullback.

oh, I don't think his arm is a big problem.
There's plenty of people who can throw as well as him that haven't ever been anything - some of them weren't even college QBs. Deion Sanders could apparently sling hardcore.

The offense, the way he's able to operate in it, the huge bust potential and the Alex Smith thing, his physical gifts compared to where his pro counterparts would be, and hardly ever reading a defense from, or taking a snap from, center are huge problems for what will undoubtedly continue to be a conservative offense no matter who is running it.

There's no guarantee that any player will translate his ability to the next level. The part about getting hit, I think he can learn how to slide, and unless he's out in the open field, he won't take any huge hits. He could still get the hard yards near the goal line that he gets right now.

Alex Smith is starting to come on a bit.

Smith is coming on after, what, four years? Not that he's Smith.
