Aquib Talib and Ronde Barber both agree.

Honorable, but I think the fact he isn't doing ANYTHING to build Moore's confidence says alot about Fox and his take on the rest of this season as well as next season.

Capers didn't want to dump Collins.. Mark Richardson wanted him gone because of a "family affair"

I'm not sure what he should be doing publically, and I don't think anyone outside the team can say he is doing nothing..

All this week, Moore will be taking the snaps. The coaches will be developing a game plan with him in mind. Hopefully they will be working all week with him. This will help his confidence. Its his turn up, he's the guy now.

Make some plays, he will get more confidence. Let the kid play before we doom him. He didn't exactly embarrass himself the last time he was in a regular season game.

I don't think it's a matter of convenience. I think the injury is real.

But, benching Jake, injury or not, is more than just Jake. Most people say "you bench Jake once the season is essentially over anyway, so you can get the kid a look."
So, you could see the impact of "just benching Jake" impacts a lot more than the QB. We're not really contending for a playoff spot, but players do respond to it, and push for it. Some would take benching a QB a that sign.

Good for Matt Moore. The back up is always the savior...until he isnt.

Well I don't know if the injury is real or not,,, but as convenient as it may be for Jake, actually I think it is VERY INCONVENIENT and bad timing for Fox (and specifically his career as our coach).

Fox needed to bench a healthy Jake to save his job (to show JR that he was truly trying every possible option), that was about his only hope. If theres anybody (fans or JR) who really believe Jake's injury is real, they will always wonder if Fox would've ever benched him. The injury took a golden opportunity away from Fox.
