Since you can not grasp it I will spell it out. Capers damaged Collins to the point that he could not stay with the Panthers. He went on to be a productive QB and led team to the superbowl. We got nothing for him. Capers wasted a top five pick. Fox is leaving Delhomme with some dignity. Better not to burn bridges that you do not have to burn.

IF they invented an injury seems more of an insult to Delhomme as well as the other guys on the team. There is no dignity whatsoever in that.

I don't think they invented anything. If he played well, they might find a way to shoot him up and play him. No idea.

But once you want someone gone enough, anything's a reason, which eventually lacks credibility on the thought process.

When Delhomo leaves that will be the end of his football career.

I just thought it was really convenient and lucky timing and an easy way for Fox to make the switch. I was kind of shocked people suggested it is a classy way for Fox to bench Jake. I took that to mean those people think Fox made up the injury.

I am wondering if maybe the reason that Fox has not bench Jake is because Fox knows that he will be fired maybe either The big Cat told Fox that he will be fired and that why Jake has not been bench .You would think that if Jake was benign is because Jake has receive an assurance from the Big Cat that his job is safe and that he can start Matt Moore

I wouldn't be surprised if both parties are exaggerating the injury. I really don't get the sense that Jake wants to play anymore, and I think Fox has (too much) enough loyalty towards Jake to put him down quietly.

Hines Ward says he should be playing even if his throwing hand was caught in a garbage disposal.
