    Dale Earnhardt was controversial. Cale got into fights. Is Jimmie too quiet to be respected?

    Jimmie got a check for over 6 million dollars, the accolades of his peers, the press and fans, how much more respect should he get? Maybe if Obama bowed to him?

    blame NASCAR for fucking up their own sport. had they stayed true to the fan base and race tracks that brought them all their fame and fortune during their rise in popularity, it may be better received. but they chose to move on, cookie cutter 1.5 mile tracks that are so flat you could'nt pass a shopping cart if your life depended on it? no thanks. car of tomorrow? ROFL! east coast one week, west coast the next, northeast the next, west coast, east coast....WTF? now they've handicapped their sponsor pool with such debt that only a few could survive. i used to love it. i still follow it, but it has lost its appeal to many of those long time fans who gave it a spine.
