“I've played with guys here who were combine freaks who couldn't play dead,” Delhomme said. “You get some of those guys who are bigger, stronger, faster than some of these guys, but if they don't have the right footwork, you can't just, 'Grrr, beat everybody.' It's finesse, it's technique. We've have some guys here where it’s like, 'That's good, but who you blocking?'”

So which lineman bust do you figure he's ragging? We had our share in the Henning Era

Mathis would be the obvious answer, but I believe he's starting for the Bengals now and doing a pretty good job.

At best butler could claim to be faster than someone, hell I thought his whole problem was being too finesse.

Maybe it makes more sense if you hear him say it with that cajun accent?

I think his words are clear. Actually it's not a matter of "which of the failed linemen we drafted 2003-06 in the top 100 players sucked so bad that a leader called him out?". It's just interesting he did.

I mean, it's pretty clear it's none of his current guys he's talking about.

Well, at some point it's going to be pretty clear I'm calling out Henning linemen, for anyone who doesn't read white text. Though he could also be talking about bust free agent linemen, I guess.

"We've have" makes no sense in any dialect. But I question the accuracy of the quotes when they don't include "plain and simple" and "without a doubt".
