I agree that it is not all jakes fault and I think I made it sound that way...BUT it is a big part. Jake has had many things to fall back on over the past, a good defense a good O Line or a good running game. Heck most of the time that they throw to Steve Smith it is that little hitch that he catches behind the line and runs for 20 yards. Now some of the INT's this year are not Jakes fault but like I said you start with the main man and thats him. My advice find a new one, He is just not that great now that he does not have the good D or the O line or the running game

I agree with your disagreement over headcase's disagreeing. which basically means I agree with ndewcoach42's assessment of the situation.

Peppers is paid to be a difference maker. He is not making much difference.....

Gantts blog mentions how he shuts out teamates and doesn't listen to the owner, the coach, and most other players. They really should have let him move on...taken whatever anybody would give for him or simply let him walk if that is really the case.

Your perception of the one year deal is that he is paid to be a difference maker. His perception is that he is paid 17 million to be someplace that he stated that he didn't want to be. No part of the agreement includes a requirement that he "make a difference".

I was for tagging him and then trading him. If the money and the fans do not motivate him to play hard then how about simple pride. If I were going to play football I would want to do well just for the pride in beating the other guy.

No you said several times we should tag him to see if last year was for real.

    weakest; he's

don't completely disagree that the team is playing poorly in all areas.

but those leads dissipated quickly ... primarily due to the D and punt coverage team.

we weren't trying to find a single pin point because as is clear to any simpleton there ain't that many much positives, we were simply stating what we think is the most glaring problem. i think it Peppers and i think he's been hands down the worst player on the defense so far. he's getting run on with ease and is providing no pass rush at all. aside from however much he is being paid and whether he should thus be a difference maker, i'd be happy if he could not be completely suck. right now he is worse than hayden and everyone else out there on the field.
