I don't get that one. Did you not watch Gross completely shut out one of the top 3 pass rushers in football? Had we won, he damn sure would have got a game ball. Rest of the line did pretty ok, Otah got ate up at the end, and Vincent did give up the sack to Ratliff.

Most of the time, Jake had some time and a pocket. No one getting open, and when they did, they couldn't catch it.

Denver had a terrible D last year, we managed comebacks against the Bears, Chargers, Packers and Saints. We looked bad in games against Detroit and Oakland, got whooped bad by tampa once.

Somebody should be fired for only having DeAngelo get 11 carries in the game. Did anyone pay attention to his last 8 games last year? Get him the ball early and often.

I watch this team and I feel like I'm watching a bunch of guys who want to go out play aggressive be held back by a conservative "play not to lose", "avoid the mistake" philosophy that:

    1) takes the fight out of them, and
    2) frustrates them

The frustration leads to mistakes of over-aggressiveness by individuals (Smitty breaking off the slant for the "big play"), and it also leads to soft play by everyone when their aggressiveness gets sucked out of them.

I see Beason on the field trying to get everyone fired up, and then pan over to Fox and he looks like he's thinking about the stewardess from back in Oakland.

Yeah when they gave up the 1st on 3rd and long after the timeout was called, the announcers said it looked like Beason was upset with Marshall for lack of help.

To me it looked like he was screaming at the sideline.

I sense an implosion coming real fast.
