. .. and how's that been workin for the panters only having one target to go to???

smittys glory days are over as long as there is no other significant receiving threat to draw defensive attention . . . opponents have kinda figured out how to just account for one guy, and it doesn't seem to matter what a badass smitty and his following seem to think he is

Not sure I'd put him in the top 20 in the NFL, so he's at best a #2 on most teams. He' a speed guy who has lost a step IMO, and really had only one top statistical season. Not an elite talent, no.

Our backs are clearly better. We have an elite WR talent. I'd rate Moose as a reciever still higher than Randle El. Neither has much proven in depth.

    They have the better TE.

I'd take Pennington and think Campbell could be much better than he's played.

Campbell has not gotten it done so far in DC but he has shown a few flashes and has a big arm. If we go after a free agent QB in the offseason he is probably as good as anyone else that will be available and better than most. He is also still young. Ideally you want a guy like him to have to compete with another decent QB for the starting spot. You do not want to sign him and assume he is your new franchise QB. It is worth noting that the skins rallied to make the playoffs a couple of years ago when Campbell got hurt and his backup played well.

I wouldn't mind Campbell being brought in to push Jake. Even if he's only a backup, I'd feel a lot better about him than McCown or Moore. I think our offense is much better suited to his strengths.
