Jason Cambell has an QB rating of 80 for his career. He doesn't throw a lot of picks, only 6 last year. The Redskins went 8-8 in the NFL's toughest division, where they are clearly the least talented team. His only elite level skill player is Cooley, a Tight End.

He's got a nice skill set, and is still young. Good arm, and being careful isn't a bad thing.

    That might work.

If we could get a QB to manage a game without >5 turnovers our defense wouldn't have to be as good as the Ravens

I didn't imply this defense would have to be "as good as" . . . I implied that our current D is about 65% as good (i.e. not nearly as good) as that 2000 ravens D and even if the panthers had a guy as effective as Dilfer was in 2000 this defensive unit would need to have less weaknesses than it has right now to be expecting playoffs

He's not a scrub either though. He made it sound like they only had one person who could play football on the offensive side of the ball.

Steve Smith is better than any receiver they have, but Moss would be #2 receiver at Carolina no problem.
