Since bye week in 08, there have been 10 panthers games. Delhomme has thrown 7 TDs and 16 INTs.

Hasn't thrown for 300 yards since 9/16/2007, and lost.

Hasn't won a game where we needed him to throw for 300 yards since 10/15/2006 vs Balt. Smitty had 189 of those.

    Since bye week 08 he's 130 for 251 for 1785 yards, 7 TD 16 INT.
    That's 7.11 per attempt, 51.8%, 2.7% of passes are TD's, 6.4 % of passes are INT.

Anybody know how to plug those in for a rating?

Any other NFL QB go that long sucking that bad and bounce back? Warner maybe?

cherry picks the dates a little bit, and we used the RBs to do most of the scoring (see Smith's highest ypc of his career but TDs dropping from past years with Delhomme, and numerous falls at the 1).

So what it tells me is that the three games they're showing are shit, and we knew that. That we relied on the run game and we knew that.

Tells me Delhomme hasn't been reliable in a long time.

Roll it back to the beginning of last season ( 18 games ) and he's 16 TD and 21 INT.

That was news to me. I'm with you on hoping it gets better. I'm really just wondering how often a QB situation like that has actually gotten better. Or how many were even given the chance.

Warner's 2002 3 TD to 11 INT was god awful - but he was worlds better than jake beforehand.

Bledsoe had some shit years. So did Testaverde. Doesn't seem like they were as wildly horrible at times.

Jake is (and always was) nothing more than an above average QB.
He is never going to be a passing machine that single handedly moves the offense up and down the field.
His only job here is to be the safe, game managing QB that steers our running offense down the field in a safe, timely fashion.
Recently, ESPECIALLY the last two games, he has failed miserably in his only job here.
