So you think it was Kalil rather than Vincent? Was that the case against the Giants last year?

I'm thinking that Atlanta might blitz some on Sunday.

I think Jake will and should start. At this point, he is still our best option. We do need to be seriously looking at a backup plan.

You got to stick with Delhomme starting. For now he gives us the best chance of winning. But somehow, some way, the coaching staff has got to convince him that he doesn't have to be successful throwing the ball for the Panthers to win. He DOES have to take care of the ball and eliminate turnovers. We have won in the past with Delhomme sucking but not turning the ball over. Hell we even won a game a couple of years back with Vinny (older than dirt) Testeverde sucking but not turning the ball over. We have never won a game when the QB has five turnovers and we probably never will. Go back to Fox's core philosophy. Run the ball, stop the run. If Delhomme cannot understand his role is to manage the game, keep it close and not force balls into coverage then you've got to bench him for someone who does understand and execute that role.

In the glass is half full vein- the defense didn't suck as bad as I thought it would yesterday.

Hopefully the offensive line will pick it up this go around

jake has never slid in the pocket well, but he can't do it at all now. he seems to be lumbering around. he can't slide and keep his eyes on the play. if he has to move in the pocket at all the play has almost no chance of success, or so it seems.

Well, he got the David Carr treatment but I really think people are equally booing Fox for not taking him out.

We go into game four 0-3, shit meet fan.

Interesting parallel to Jake's first game, with him being Peete this time. Problem is, I don't think we have we have another Jake to put in.

They weren't on the field for much of the game. Our offense and special teams did most of Philly's scoring for them early on.

I still cringe when I see third and long because I know that the opposing team will get the first down by 1 or 2 yards - it happened Sunday and happened most of last season.
