Let me first say that Jake should take alt of the blame for the last today. The 1st Int as well the fumble that results in Eagles TD to give them 10-7 lead that was not his fault .But what his fault was the INT where he overthrow Smithy .Also the other INT. Even when he did not throw for IN THE over throw the WR or under throw the WR. But also as mad as we should be at Jake for playing really bad. We should be madder at the O line for not giving any of the QB is it Jake Josh or matt Moore anytime what so ever to find anyone open. I’m sorry but that is really bad coaching job by john Fox and the OL coach as well the online .It not a secret that the Eagles love to blitz .If you know that this the case. Then why not come with a right game plan to beat the blitz .When team blitz and send 8guys after the QB usually there is someone who is going to be open. But if the O line can’t pick up the blitz then that force the QB to make a very bad throw that will either results in INT or a Sack or a An incomplete pass .Let Me say that where I’m worry about is believe it or not but is special teams. It inexcusable that the Cats kick a very good punt and that has in results. It has happen way too many times that the Cats have allowed a return for a TD on Punt .Let give positive grade to the defense who I thought was play good not great by any stretch of the meaning but they were good enough that if the score was close we could have won the game. Now we are facing a very good Atlanta team. With the said Jake has played well against Atlanta in the past .Next Sunday I truly expect the panthers to play much better then them today. You can’t play any worst on offense then play today. I think the panthers will win the game. Because it a game that will make or brake there season .They know that can’t go into Dallas 0-2 and they also know that must play better on Sunday. To shows the fans to prove to them that they are not as bad they play today .even great team like the pats and Colts Pitt have a bad game ones in a while

    It Is Time To Panic!

    @ Atlanta
    @ Dallas

Jake Delhomme 7-17, 4 interceptions, 14.7 QB rating!

Delhomme is a good example why quarterbacks like Brett Favre are re-cycled every year. Jay Cutler (4 interceptions also) is another example.

Panthers most likely will start 0-3!

    more than meets the eye...

Yes, it's true...Jake screwed up, again. But! The execution of offensive plays in football is a choreographed thing and there are multiple dimensions unfolding rapidly in a chaotic circumstance. It just so happens that the Carolina Panther's chaos is upon Jake quicker and more intensely than other teams. Ever notice that when we pass it looks like a jail break in our backfield as the rushers bust through vs. when we are rushing the opposing QB he has all day to make his reads and throw from a balanced position instead of back-pedaling to escape the onslaught? (see Kurt Warner, Tom Brady, etc)....just a thought.

But, with all of that said, Jake's play is still bad...bad decision-making...should eat the ball and take more sacks and not throw it up for grabs. Taking more sacks would put more heat on the O-line as a huge problem.

Yesterday, Jake threw more than a few not under real pressure way off target. It wasn't just the pressure.

Exactly I don't think anyone is suggesting Jake was sitting in a protective bubble. He was under a lot of pressure, but the problem he tried to force things. Instead of backpedalling with the ball away from his body, he could have taken the sack and we punt. On some throws, he could throw the ball out of bounds. Instead, we're receiving the kickoff because he fumbled and the other team scored.
