    Apparently a fire alarm went off/got pulled last night at the hotel the Panthers were staying in. Rhys Lloyd was complaining about how little sleep he got last night.

    They stay in a hotel for a home game?

    I'm guessing they could take a nap if they needed to. While it's "Just a pre-season game" it sure would be nice to have a win going into the regular season

    Yes...The night before a home game, the team stays in a hotel. Although i believe that the Panthers are one of the teams in the NFL that has a 'veterans' policy...so some of the veterans (five or more years with the team) get to stay at home. It is just a way for the team to keep better tabs on the team.
