    Everette Brown - Kinda bumming he's being displaced by Tyler Brayton. Still could be a solid starter.

    Sherrod Martin - Not looking good. HAsn't beaten CJ Wilson, hasn't even garnered as much praise at Captain. Hasn't shown up in the preseason.

    Corvey Irvin - Who? If we didn't suck so bad at DT, I bet he'd get axed in camp. I don't have any real reason to say that, just a hunch.

    MIke Goodson - Seems like a total punk, but can make some plays. If he's coachable he may be the best pick of the draft. We traded next year's first for Goodson and Brown, so if we hit on both that's not so bad. Especially if we have a lower round first next year.

    Fiametta - Hasn't shown up in the preseason.

    Robinson - about what I expected. He's there. Seems more involved than Martin, Brown, and Fiametta.

    Munnerlyn - Nice seventh rounder. Likeable player, Seems more involved than Martin.

    2008 guys

    Dan Connor makes me not so worried about Beason. Bernadeau seems to be filling in nicely for Hang.

    Stewart is a stud if he can get on the field.
    Otah is the man.
    Godfrey is still starting
    Barnidge beat out King
    HAyden - jesus christ is the current starter.
    Schwartz is semi decent.

    We may have 5 guys from 2008 starting against philly:

    Otah
    Godfrey
    Conner ( if beason is down )
    Barnidge
    Hayden

    Nutty. Nobody from 2009 seems ready to contribute the way Godfrey, Otah, and Stewart did last year.

    Fucking Nick Hayden. I'll say it again - fucking Nick Hayden.

    There were DTs available when we took Godfrey and Connor, but then we would be dealing with the Hayden of safety/MLB.

    brown came out a year before being NFL ready. if he stayed, he'd be a top 10 pick in the 2010 draft. i kind of feel like this is a training year for him and next year will be really good.

    Said it at draft time and will say it again, I hate taking small school guys high, like in the second round. Martin.

    And Hayden, I'm pissed at management for him being in the picture after last year, they should have done ANYTHING to make sure he went deep on the depth chart, at best.

    2008 got us some talent but I don't know about Stewart. I didn't really think we needed him then, and now with all of his missed time....

    he's going to be fine. besides, i'm starting to get the feeling that whatever wins we manage to scrape out of this year will be due to the offense. so...i'd rather him miss every meaningless game instead of 4 real games, as our all-universe 18 million man de says, “that's when the show starts.”
