    in theory... we would still be able to line up at DE without Pep... or that's what we wanted to believe, so Pep could see a lot more LB this year... we're finally going to start hearing again the comparison's with LT when Pep came out of college

    NFL Total Access last night said that sources close to the panthers said peppers is now open to a long term contract.

    I am still not sure he is worth the money he is going to get but whatever, just get it settled. If he will sign a long term deal now then great. That will give us some cap space and let us sign some depth if there is anyone worth signing left and maybe lock up some other guys we want to keep.
