    Why do you think Robinson is not ready? Is it just his weight and conditioning? If so it is not unreasonable to think he will get in shape between now and the end of training camp.

    fighting against an incumbent who already beat out two other vets, that has 7 years experience, that's a big part of it too.

    I agree but at the same time they put that vet on IR last year when he could have probably been ready for the playoffs....

    I wonder if Hoover makes the team. His salary will be a lot higher than the FB we drafted (can't recall his name)

    It is possible that he will not. The rookie is probably going to be better than him fairly soon too. I would like to see Hoover finish his career here but I am not sure it happens.

    that's not really relevant as to whether they'd start an undeveloped rookie versus the guy they decided to start for every game he was available.


    There's absolutely no reason not to keep Hoover.
