So Robinson. Why did he fall so far?

Looks great. Top guard on some boards.

No one would have laughed if this guy went in the 2nd. To get him in the 5th is huge.

    Overall Football Traits

Production 2 Played in 10 games, mostly at left guard as a true freshman in 2005. He had the highest snap count on the OU O-line (809) as a sophomore in 2006. Started 13 of 14 games (Texas A&M) at left guard as a junior in 2007. 2008: Robinson plays in 13 of 14 games (12 starts) at left guard.

Height-Weight-Speed 3 Is tall and thickly built. A massive OG prospect whose weight will be constantly monitored in the NFL. Possesses decent speed for such a big interior lineman.

Durability 2 Proved to be durable throughout his career at OU. Will need to continue to improve his flexibility and stamina, though.

Character 4 Is benched for the 2008 season opener versus Tenn-Chattanooga and suspended for the first half of Game 4 versus TCU both due to undisclosed disciplinary reasons.

    Offensive Guard specific Traits
Strength/Toughness 2 Is massive and can engulf most defenders when in proper position. Displays adequate initial pop and almost always works to the whistle. But he's not as consistently dominating at the point of attack as his size and production would indicate.

Agility 3 Fires out quickly as a run blocker and can reach the second-level consistently. Runs well on pulls, traps and screens. However, he plays out of control and does not have great balance in space, which leads to him finishing on the ground too frequently. He certainly does not have the elite feet to transition to LOT like 2007 top OG prospect Branden Albert, who is leaner, longer and more fluid.

Awareness 3 Shows good awareness in pass pro and keeps head on swivel. However, he's not as consistent as he should be. Focus is questionable. Misses the occasional assignment (see: 8:33 remaining in 1st QTR of Mizzou regular season game in 2007). Will get called for too many penalties.

Pass Protection 2 A natural knee bender. Has long arms and quick hands. Rarely loses a battle once he locks on. Can sink his hips and anchor versus bull rush. Not as quick with first step in pass pro set as he is when firing out as a run blocker. Also will overextend versus quicker DT's at times, which leads to him getting caught lunging versus some double moves.

Run Blocking 1 Fires out of his stance, displays a quick first step when coming forward and takes very good angles as a run blocker. Needs to keep his head up more consistently and do a better job with hand placement. Has the massive build and enough strength to win nearly all phone booth matchups when he's in position.

    40 Yard Dash : 5.33 seconds

Positives: Massive player who can engulf defenders and physically dominate his opponent. ... Good initial quickness off the snap to get out and block on the move. ... Good drive blocker with excellent size and strength. ... Plays with good leverage despite his height. ... Can generate movement at the point of attack in short-yardage situations. ... Plays with some nastiness and has the raw power to turn and pancake his opponent. ... Quick, strong hand punch to jolt the defender in pass protection. ... Natural knee-bender who plays with good leverage and balance in pass pro. ... Long arms and strong hands to keep the defender at bay.

Negatives: Only marginal balance and lateral quickness to block at the second level, and spends too much time on the ground when trying to block on the move. ... Lack of great quickness shows in pass protection, as he struggles to adjust if his initial punch doesn't slow the defender

Not sure why the hell he fell this far. Really plummeted down the boards during the offseason. I remember watching a game during his junior year and he really stood out. At that point he was pretty highly rated and he just dominated. Good value IMO. He'll compete with Vincent and be a valuable backup.

edit - Seems that lots off peeps have serious issues with his ability to pass block and his overall athleticism. Not sure he can get to the 2nd level etc.

Can we get him in the hall of fame just based on his going later than some people thought?
