Fuck. Ronald Fields only got $5 million over two years? Even as cap-strapped as we are, how do we not beat that? I know he's a two-gap guy who is maybe best suited as a 3-4 nose, but he's a better player than Kemoeatu.

At this point, I dont think theres a market for Peppers tradewise-He wont get the big money that Haynesworth got and the few teams he might would go to realise that were screwed and are not gonnna give up anything of substance to get him-He should have been traded last year-I think the best thing for everyone would be to rescind the tag, let him walk and free up some cap space-not likely to happen but the front office screwed the pooch on this one Id rather fill some holes and get ready for the draft than to let it drag out-he, alone wont help the defense out with that cap number

If/when he does walk I think he and his agent are in for a rude awakening: as a 3-4 OLB he wont command elite level money yet and if he did someone wouldve made a move by now

ESPN says Ray Lewis and Matt Birk signed with the Ravens, and Coles went to the Bangles.
..... and Warner finally signed with Arizona
..... and Grady Jackson to the Lions

Bengals? Must have been a pretty shitty market for him.

Another cb gone. Shawn Springs did not yet sign with the Eagles, but it looks like it is a strong possibility.

Eagles didn't really want Dawkins to go, they fell asleep at the wheel in re-signing him before FA and didn't expect the type of money to be thrown at him that was.
