They wanted to show Florida that the Marlins aren't the only ones who can dismantle an entire team.

Wow...to have seen them at 9-3 through November this season, only to watch them arrive to this point...

I remember sitting here last year saying the Falcons would be one of the shittiest teams in the NFL. Oops.

I don't think it's unreasonable to think they have a plan. They'll have a ton of cap money, and nobody they cut is that great anymore.

I remember the talking heads on ESPN saying how the Bucs were a much more solid 9-3 team than the Panthers. Of course we went 12-4 with the lone loss coming at the Giants while they went 9-7 and missed the playoffs.

I know Brooks' stats fell off noticeably last year, but I don't get releasing him. Unless he wasn't willing to restructure...

Word is they've been waiting/hoping for him to retire for a while now, having a new HC gives you some credit on personnel decisions so I guess they decided to cut the cord for him.

Yeah, with the new HC you basically have to remove all the veterans since he's so young and inexperienced.

Did anyone else hear their press conference? Their HC sounded like a retard, he talks like Eugene Robinson.

You never know in the NFL, but I get the feeling that the Raheem Morris hire will turn out to be one of the biggest debacles in recent NFL history. I think it could end up being on the level of the Lions handing over their franchise to Matt Millen. Inexperience usually only works out when a guy is coming into a favorable situation (ie Mike Tomlin). I don't think the situation in Tampa is favorable for anyone right now.
